Dear Students, Friends and Colleagues:
Welcome to the new Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania website! Our goal is to make the site a more valuable resource for all visitors. We hope that you enjoy the updated look and enhanced functionality and that you will take a moment to explore the information, event updates and registration details, and testimonials from our student scholarship recipients. We’ve also added links to Twitter and Facebook! Let us know what you think.
The Assignment is our new monthly e-newsletter that will let us share the latest updates on our scholarship program, information on our current events and activities, and profiles of our scholars and partners – with links directly to our updated website. If you haven’t yet shared your email with us, you can do so through the “contact us” section of the website so you’re sure to receive the next issue of The Assignment.
Let me also take this opportunity to highlight some of our upcoming events:
- Our Pittsburgh Golf Outing is planned for Friday, May 21 at Lake Arthur Country Club in Butler
- You are also cordially invited to join me and other Kids’ Chance Board members at our 5th Annual Golf Outing and Recognition Event scheduled for June 6 at the Hershey Country Club.
- Save the dates for our fall 5K Run/Walk events in Philadelphia on Sunday October 3 and in Harrisburg on Sunday, October 24. We’ll add more information to the 5K event pages as the details are confirmed.
Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania is a volunteer-driven organization and I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the Board of Directors and the vital role they play in the success of our organization. It is only through the efforts of these dedicated, caring and creative individuals that we are able to positively impact the lives of deserving scholarship recipients and their families.
Finally, all of this would not be possible without the generous support of our Corporate and Community Partners, Scholar Sponsors, Kids’ Advisors, and many donors who provide contributions to fund our scholarships. Thank you for your continued support of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania.
