Eligibility
To be eligible for a scholarship grant, applicants must have had/have a parent who has been killed/seriously injured as a result of a work related accident that meets the criteria of the PA Workers' Compensation Act and that has resulted in demonstrated financial need. Applicants must be within the ages of 16 to 25 and be accepted by an accredited, post-secondary educational institution. Graduate students are not eligible to apply.

Scholarship applications for non-full-time student status shall be subject to Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania’s standard application review criteria as well as evaluation of the individual circumstances requiring the non-full-time status. This shall also apply to existing scholarship awards where the student’s full-time status has, or will be, changed.
