The United Way seeks to improve people’s lives by mobilizing the caring power of donors, volunteers and communities. As originally conceived, United Way still ensures that those most in need are getting the best help they can.

Thanks to you I have been able to complete two years of my college education, and make myself, my parents, and my family very proud of my accomplishments.

I became eligible for this award when my father lost his life in a tractor trailer accident. It was always a dream he had for me to be able to have the chance to go to college if I chose. Kids’ Chance has made it much easier for me to achieve the goal that was his and is mine.
