The entire family is impacted in more ways than may be realized at first. Planning for the future is delayed, and when the time comes to consider higher education for the worker’s children, the cost can often put that dream out of reach. That’s where we come in. Through the generosity of Corporate Partners and Sponsors, event sponsors, and individual donors, Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania can help make higher education a reachable goal for these children.
Our Planning for the Future initiative was created to identify more applicants, even those who may not yet be of college age, and to capture their information so that we can contact them when the time comes to apply for college and the need for scholarships occurs. This program allows Kids’ Chance to leverage the power of a large network of industry professionals, educators and counselors who come into direct contact with the families who need our scholarships.

Because I am a Spanish a major, studying abroad in a Spanish-speaking country
Because I am a Spanish a major, studying abroad in a Spanish-speaking country is highly recommended. Because of my Kids’ Chance scholarship, I had the wonderful experience of spending six weeks studying Spanish at Univeritas Castellae in Valladolid, Spain this past summer.
