Kids’ Chance Cares

Each fall, Kids’ Chance Cares connects with and further supports our scholarship recipients by providing them with useful supplies to help them further their education. Reusable water bottles, USB flash drives, first aid kids, gift cards, stationery items and midnight snacks are some of the items typically donated by our partners, scholars and board members. In addition to these donors, this program brings together a variety of volunteers at the packing party event, typically held in the Philadelphia area.

“We had an energetic bunch that ‘went to work’ packing, signing cards and taping up the boxes. In addition to the board members, we had volunteers from some of our partner/scholars, too! Thanks again to all! We are sure the students receiving the care packages appreciate the thought and effort,” said Don McCarter, Kids’ Chance of PA Board member and coordinator of the event.

Thank you again to the donors and volunteers whose support helps drive this impactful program. Because of you, our scholarship recipients will know just how much “Kids’ Chance Cares” about their education. We will post our “wish list” over the summer if you’d like to donate some items for our students. We typically assemble 55-60 packages.
